Russ, 48, from Liverpool, said: "I couldn't discover the ticket anyplace. However, I knew I'd had it in my office.

"I got the sack and tossed it out over the floor and the ticket just came drifting out."Russ, who has two children matured 10 and 18, included: "I was over the moon to discover it.

"I can hardly wait to be without obligation for Christmas. It's fabulous. It hasn't generally soaked in yet.

"You generally believe it's the sort of thing that is not going to transpire."
